CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS

Cyanide, Thiocyanate and Sulphide

TOP

From the beginning of April we will be adding to our Cyanide, Thiocyanate and Sulphide capacity with the introduction of a new Skalar San++ segmented flow analyser.

It has always been our policy to track instrument utilisation to ensure service to clients is maintained and we have KPI's that monitor capacity vs. workload.

This is a significant investment and our new instrument and increased capacity will give us even more reliability with our already impressive turnaround times.

The first few compounds usually included in a VOC analysis are commonly referred to as "the gases" (at least in laboratory circles) and there is a reason for this.

Pure Dichlorodifluoromethane (CCl2F2), the most volatile compound in most VOC suites, boils at -29.8°C and Vinyl Chloride (C2H3Cl) boils at -13.4°. The first compound in our VOC suite with a boiling point above 20°C, and therefore a liquid at that temperature, is Trichlorofluoromethane (CCl3F), at 23.77°C.
